This is the time where I usually post an update on the past week. I don't have a lot to say but will write something to avoid a phone call in the morning claiming that I never update!
So, here it goes ~ this week was REALLY sunny. The rain came back today, which is a good for two reasons: 1) my new garden needs water 2) I need a reason to stay indoors and clean my house.
Dave still hasn't applied or had an official interview for a new job that was offered to him in January. Our guts say this IS the week.
ME, I am running my little heart out trying not to get hurt before June 25th. My shins are starting to get a little sore---more ice!
Eden ~ last week was 80's week at school - our interpretation with what we had on hand:
Luke is a memorizing machine. He can play a piece 5 times and it is in his head! His piano teacher is moving to Utah and so I started teaching him. It is temporary (maybe?)...It is hard to pay people money for what you can do yourself. I justify it knowing that they progress better when they have to report to someone besides their mother.
Tucker is one focused child. Honestly I think he has a lego set in his hands 90% of the day. Like I mentioned previously, I wish he would have picked this hobby last November. We have several brand new train sets in our home from Christmas and birthday. My plan is to sell them at the holiday peak this year.
Liza. My prayer each morning when I wake up is the same - PLEASE help me keep this child alive today. Busy busy busy busy busy SO CUTE but SO SO busy. Did you catch the word "new" in my garden sentence? That is because I had an "old" garden. One that I carefully tendered from seed, to a great little start, to hardening, to planting in a well soiled, nice little spot in my yard. Two days later, Liza pulled every "start" out, stomped on them, put them into a pot and brought them to me with a smile "look mom, I picked you flowers!"
I have a lot of close friends and family suffering right now and am grateful that they trust us enough to open up and allow us to be a part of their trials. It helps us realize, or remember what is most important in life and forget the petty stuff.
That is all for now. See you next week :)
