Obama is going to make us rich!

I heard a clip on the Dori Monson show yesterday that made me laugh so hard I cried. Don't get me wrong, I feel for every person that is stuck in this economic mess---the humor comes with the fact that people literally see Obama as a savior. Let's just call this paybacks

Dave got the heads up this morning that we were going to have a couple of "special" talks on reverence today as the Stake Presidency was a little concerned about how loud our sacrament meetings have become. I thought ~ great, let's prep the kids ~ I told them that they were to be on their best behavior, no snacks, no toys, no talking, you get the idea... Happy 8th Eden

We had the sweetest birthday party and baptism for Eden last week. I can't believe that she is already 8. She was so excited to be baptized by her father and have her grandparents there with her. The first thing she said to me in the bathroom after was "I look so different mom!" We are so proud of her and all that she does.

We've had a fantastic couple of weeks filled with family, a baptism and parties! Today is Luke's birthday and so I will start with him. As you may recall, he asked for a pet for Christmas. After much thought (much much much) we gave him this: Planet Frog (get a tadpole and watch it transform) For his birthday he said the only thing in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD that he wanted was a "real pet." So, last night he got this: More later...
